How to Watch the Indianapolis Colts without Cable
If you’re planning on streaming the Indianapolis Colts’ season, you’ve got plenty of services that can help you do that. Our top recommendations for watching the NFL online include Fubo and Hulu + Live TV.
After we tell you more about these options, we will go over the other options that should help you watch some or all of the Indianapolis Colts’ season without cable. No matter which service you choose, you’ll find that streaming is cheaper than cable, contract-free, and easy to use!
You can be watching your favorite shows minutes after you sign up for the service you choose. Once you pick a service, you’ll connect your streaming device (mobile devices, Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) to the Internet, and that’s about it.
From there you just choose what you want to watch and then it’s a lot like you experienced with cable.
Out-of-Market Indianapolis Colts Games
Fans outside the Colts’ broadcast area may find it difficult to watch many games since NFL TV coverage is regional in nature. If you don’t live in an area with a lot of interest in the Colts, few games will be broadcast. So they need to find other ways to watch.
Our guide, NFL Out-of-Market Games, explains how to watch such games and provides you with all your options.
The best option is NFL Sunday Ticket, which allows fans to see any games that don’t feature their local teams. But this doesn’t work for cord-cutters, since it is only available through YouTube and YouTube TV.
One tool to consider is a VPN. You can watch out-of-market NFL games with a VPN. ExpressVPN (Black Friday details) explains how to do this.

About the Indianapolis Colts
Although the Colts have recorded winning records in two of the past three seasons, they did not make the playoffs in any of those as 9-8 marks in 2021 and 2023 fell just short of getting Indianapolis to the postseason. (The 2022 Colts went 4-12-1.)
That said, last year was especially painful as those playoff aspirations ended in cruel fashion, when running back Tyler Goodson could not get his feet under him, and a fourth-down pass that would have been a first down if caught went off his hands.
So, looking ahead, will 2024 be more like how the 2018-20 seasons were, which consisted of 10-6, 7-9 and 11-5 marks and, more importantly, two playoff appearances, or will it be more mediocrity?
For better or for worse, the core of the team has not changed much although now having new signee Joe Flacco as the team’s backup quarterback will ensure that the drop-off will not be too significant should starter Anthony Richardson get hurt again; he suffered a shoulder injury in 2023.
As for Richardson, the second-year player has shown a lot of promise, and hopes are that his sophomore season will allow him to put into action many of the things that he learned during his first go-around but was not able to be fully comfortable with yet.
Also a consideration is that head coach Shane Steichen is just in his second year in that role anywhere.
Other players to take note of include running back Jonathan Taylor, who led the league in rushing yards and touchdowns three years ago, wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., linebacker Zaire Franklin, safety Julian Blackmon, and kicker Matt Gay, who made four 50+-yard field goals in a 22-19 win over the Ravens in week three of last season, becoming the first kicker in NFL history to do so.
The Colts can exorcise their 2023 demons right away as the season-opener is a home game against the Texans, which is exactly how that 2023 campaign came to a painful end.
