Which Channels Do I Need to Watch the Carolina Panthers?

You can watch Panthers football online throughout the entire season as long as you have the right channels. In terms of broadcast channels, you’ll need NFL Network and ESPN. These channels either require a cable or a streaming service.

Local channels you’ll need to watch NFL include CBS, Fox, and NBC. These channels can be picked up with a digital antenna in most areas, though they are also offered through streaming services, depending on your location.

How to Watch the Carolina Panthers Game without Cable

Watching the Carolina Panthers online has never been easier. While there are several streaming options, two of our favorites are Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM. Both of these services are relatively inexpensive, feature-packed, and easy to use.

Later in this guide, we will mention the other services that offer an easy way to watch the Carolina Panthers live stream without cable.

If you’re fed up with cable raising their prices, streaming services provide an easy transition from one service to another. Streaming services are contract-free and offer many of the same channel options you’d have with cable.

You’ll use a streaming device (Roku, Chromecast, mobile devices, etc.) that will connect to an Internet connection. You can be set up in minutes and watch TV in no time!

Out-of-Market Carolina Panthers Games

Local Panther fans can watch all Sunday afternoon games on local network affiliates (Fox mainly). Fans out-of-market are not as lucky and must depend upon whatever games are judged to be most appropriate for their region.

This is a common problem. We’ve even written an article to address it, NFL Out-of-Market Football Games.

The standard solution is simply to get NFL Sunday Ticket. But this doesn’t work for cord cutters. This season, it is only available if you if you subscribe to the YouTube TV plan. (Our Sunday Ticket review has more information.)

Among the ways to watch out-of-market NFL games is to use a VPN. Get more information on how this works from ExpressVPN (deal).

Carolina Panthers Season Roundup

The highlight of the Panthers season was probably watching owner David Tepper pour a drink on fans during a game. Alternatively, it may have been when the team beat the Falcons 9-7 in front of just a few hundred fans thanks to a massive storm near Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers enter this season in the running for the worst run franchise in the NFL. Quarterback Bryce Young will need to take a huge step forward if the team hopes to get back to respectability. Carolina bolstered its wide receiver core by drafting Xaiver Legette with the 32nd pick in the draft. Although the team had the worst record in the NFL, the top pick went to Chicago thanks to the trade made to acquire Bryce Young last year.

Carolina has a new head coach after hiring Dave Canales from Tampa Bay. Brad Idzik is the new offensive coordinator and also served in Tampa Bay. Finally, Ejiro Evero is the team’s defensive coordinator after spending time in Denver in the same role.

Although large jumps are possible from season to season, it’s likely that Carolina struggles again as the team lacks top talent on both sides of the ball. The team lost arguably its best player when pass rusher Brian Burns was traded to the Giants for a second and fifth round pick. In 2023, Burns had eight sacks to go along with a fumble recovery and two passes defensed.

Carolina has never won a Super Bowl and last played in the Super Bowl in 2015. That year, Peyton Manning and the Broncos would defeat the Cam Newton-led Panthers in what would be Manning’s final season.

Cam Newton and Steve Smith are among the team’s best players since 2010. Other legendary Panthers include linebacker Sam Mills and quarterback Kerry Collins, who was the team’s first-ever draft pick.
