Marketing Manager - EU

As Sol de Janeiro is rapidly growing and expanding, we are looking for a Marketing Manager - EU to support managing Sol de Janeiro EU (except DACH, PL, NL) business. You will support and execute all aspects of National Marketing and Consumer engagement activities (local market campaigns, PR, influencers) for the EU Manager. This position is a permanent contract and is based in Paris.

This role will report to the Regional Brand Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop & lead the execution of EU Media Strategies

  • Create comprehensive 360 omnichannel Media plans including OOH, digital, Influencer
  • Marketing tailored to the specific needs and goals of the region.
  • Analyze market trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to inform media planning decisions.
  • Determine optimal media channels and tactics to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Lead the execution of the media plan across channels
  • Tracking, reporting, and evaluation of all activities of the annual media plan

Integrated Marketing Strategy Development

  • Develop local relevant Marketing activities in partnership with the International department and key retailers
  • Partner closely with Key Account Managers to understand retailer priorities and objectives, and build in partnership a cohesive regional marketing plan

Consumer Marketing

  • Ensure best-in-class execution of Digital and Influencer campaigns through always-on evaluations and KPI development to ensure programs are driving acquisition and brand growth
  • Develop and manage, with the Regional brand manager and PR agency, influencer and brand ambassador programming, delivering brand reach and conversation through impactful influencer programming that supports strategic launches, retailers, and brand priorities

Budget Allocation and Management

  • Allocate budget resources across various media channels and campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor spending and adjust allocations as needed to ensure budget adherence and campaign success.

Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and retailer partners to communicate campaign performance and ROI

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5-7+ years' experience in Marketing, PR, Influencer, and Social preferably in retail/cosmetics/luxury goods.
  • Experience in leading national campaigns across all touchpoints
  • Rigor, autonomy, organization, adaptability, and proactivity are essentials for the job.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Business School or University Master's Graduate, with a major in Business, Management, or Marketing.
  • Knowledge and affinity with retail, digital marketing, and business. Interest in the beauty industry is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (1-3 days per week in our Paris Office)

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
