“Working with Yves has been extremely pleasant over these past 2 years and a half. It takes so much determination, passion and dedication to reach such a level of knowledge and expertise, and Yves is no less than an inspiring and great individual. Yves has been faced with a particularly difficult challenge: very little time to build a team to back him up while having a constant pressure and need to find great projects for Focus to publish. And what happened? Yves built a wonderful team, full of wit and strong of a visionary eye, hence some superb projects signed and critically acclaimed (Chants of Sennaar, Dordogne, Boltgun, Warstride, and I could go on for ages.) But Yves is simply not just a great manager and a golden project digger, he can count on so many years spent in the industry. After countless projects reviewed and development teams met, his acute sense of analysis makes him an undeniable game-changer. Patient, kind and considerate are some of the qualifiers one could use to describe Yves when he is on his quest to creating incredible partnerships. At my level I was lucky enough to work with Yves on Dordogne and I would not have had this much of a pleasant experience with developers, had he not been such a great intermediary and facilitator: clearly presenting Focus and its processes to the studio, and clarifying devs' expectations towards Focus. I can safely say that Yves undeniably played a key role in Dordogne's success, and for this (amongst so many other deeds) I am grateful. Lastly, I would simply mention the relevant and esteemed mindset Yves is working and living with: to remain simple, humble, caring and trying his best to yield impacting gaming experiences. The Video Game Industry has no secret for him and I would highly recommend Yves for any Acquisition-, Production-, Consulting-related roles, as he knows how to unite people around brilliant ideas and projects. I wish to work with Yves at some point in the future.”

In 15 years, with a proper hindsight, and after several failures or deceptions, has the MMO genre evolved enough to keep players coming in and maintain their interest ?
