Flint, MI — Flint City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of Juneteenth.

City Hall will reopen on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Juneteenth is a paid day off for city employees and there will be no delay with residential waste collection. 

In celebration of Juneteenth, the City of Flint will hold a fireworks display in partnership with the Flint Downtown Development Authority.

Fireworks will launch from Chevy Commons with visibility for spectators throughout the downtown Flint area. The fireworks will begin at dusk, around 9:45 — 10 p.m.
