Another Remedy Flashbacks was held in our Stockholm office recently. Remedy Flashbacks is one way of building our culture and sharing knowledge from longtime Remedians. It’s for us Remedians to huddle up and hear stories of our history and highlights from various corners of the realm of making games. This time Sanna Kantelinen and Johannes Paloheimo hosted the event with long-time Remedian and Lead Technical Designer Anssi Hyytiäinen. Anssi gave us a great history lesson through the years of making games. We got a peek into the scripting of enemy behavior in the first Max Payne game, some jokes Anssi put into our games and what it was like to be a gamer before it was cool to be a gamer.
