Summersville is a town in the Forest region of Appalachia. The town has been taken over by the Blood Eagles.
Background
Summersville is a small town located on the northern edge of the lake that shares its name, with a population of 724 before the Great War.[Pub 1][1] The Blood Eagles have since occupied the town.
Layout
Broad Street, also designated Route 87A, runs through Summersville from the northern city limit to the southern end of town, where it connects to Route 87. It is intersected in the middle of town by the short Main Street, which leads to a dead end on either side.
Northern Area
Just outside the northern city limit is a house where Vault-Tec University doctoral candidate Aaliyah used to live, it contains an experimental schematic which is part of the quest Trade Secrets. A Jukebox for a miscellaneous quest is located in a nearby collapsed brick building.
At the crossroad of Broad and Main St are a bank building, a laundromat center with another jukebox and a voting tent with a Cooking Station behind it. A playground is located on Main St West, with more voting tents, a church and a graveyard being just around the corner to the north.
Southern Area
The southern part of Broad St has the entrance to Duncan & Duncan Robotics, as well as many shops , some of which can be entered and contain junk and minor loot. The rooftops of these buildings are heavily guarded by Blood Eagles, and can be accessed by a fire ladder behind the building that Duncan & Duncan is located in. A Weapons Workbench and an Armor Workbench can be found on them, as well as a Steamer Trunk.
At the intersection of Broad St and Route 87 is another Cooking Station in front a Bus. A wooden bench that may hold unique jewelry is located slightly southeast from here, towards to shore of the lake. West of the intersection, towards the bridge, is an ice cream parlor with the third jukebox. Across the bridge and a short distance to the north is Priblos' Curios.

"The once-bucolic town on the north end of the lake that shares its name is now a trap-filled hunting ground for wayward Vault Dwellers and mutated undesirables. The fire escapes at the playground or the eastern edge of the settlement provide quick access to the rooftop areas, where it's easiest to hide and attack; remove the traps and many explosive cannisters first."
