Tell me about[]

Should we have the tell me about phrases listed like: Tell me about:

etc? Mr. Teatime 17:14, 14 Mar 2005 (GMT)

Well, isn't the eventual plan to include all the dialogs anyways? And I don't mean going through them in-game and transcribing--someone just needs to use a DAT explorer to steal all the dialogs. Remember how veryinky in #fallout said he could help there? Spazmo 20:26, 14 Mar 2005 (GMT)

It would be even cooler if we could hyperlink the dialogues to actually be interactive... Ausir 22:33, 14 Mar 2005 (GMT)

Death of Overseer[]

I'm wondering how to include the info that it is possible for the Vault Dweller (by hitting the combat key at just the right time) to blow the Overseer away at the end of the game, just after being exiled. -- WCFrancis 17:11, 27 Jun 2005 (CEST)

or.......more detail on his death animation with blooody mess, which involves blowing off his left half and watching him crawl to the vautl and die.nice Werewolfhell 19:25, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, it even looked as if he was knocking or trying to lean up against the vault door. --XterrorX 10:25, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

The Name?[]

Um, if his name is Jacoren, then why the article is still with the title Vault 13 Overseer? Kreivi Wolter 21:32, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Because the name Jacoren was never used in the game, so the concept art might be out-of-date. Nitty Tok. 21:33, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Mr. House is NOT an Overseer[]

An Overseer surely is a Vault-Tec position, he won it in a bet and cancelled the whole Vault Experiment, is Darion the 'unofficial' Overseer of Vault 15, or Gruthar of Vault 13? They both respectively rule over the Vault's and there inhabitants. You can't have an 'unofficial' Overseer because it's a position in Vault-Tec Industries not an inter-changable title like 'Boss', 'Leader' or something like that. Adam James Walker 19:44, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yes he is, in fact, an overseer. You can try to explain why he's not, but Obsidian says he is; thus, he is. --Kris User Hola 21:35, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

The overseer doesn't own the vault. House could have been the first overseer, won the vault and then froze himself.JASPER//"Do you like hurting other people?"UserRichard 21:37, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Again I find myself apologising, I couldn't remember him ever being refered to as Overseer is all. Adam James Walker 22:00, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Killing the Overseer[]

Is it possible to kill the overseer while he's atop his special, gatling gun armed chair? The article doesn't't mention the stats of him when in this state. 96.246.193.177 05:09, September 2, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, really. How much “much” does he have? He's printed to have 30, but when getting damage, not decreasing after that. And how many bullets he has?

I know that this Overseer's in-the-chair critter is apparently scripted to not be killable. Strange thing is, I found an ACM file while looking thorugh the sound effects for animation events, notably for dying...there was this NMOVER##-something and was exactly how it was apparently meant to sound like, but went unused. --Breakin'Benny (talk) 10:11, July 23, 2014 (UTC)
He has probably either 65k or 4G health, as taking 200 hp by 8-10 shots with alien blaster didn't even bring his damage status down from "unhurt". Need to try with sniper+better criticals perk+10 lk and gattling... That would cause insta-death to anyone, unless he is really that special. 89.1.172.187 09:35, December 17, 2019 (UTC)

Rewording Jacoren's fate[]

I feel that the section on the fate of Jacoren could possibly be worded better. I propose we change it to the following. "He possibly tried to stop those who wanted to leave and then eventually may have been tried and sentenced to death for his crime" this way the uncertainty of these outcomes is better expressed. Thank you for your consideration. (This is my first edit proposal, so any advice is appreciated!) Lstknt776 (talk) 03:22, February 4, 2016 (UTC)
