Bug[]

There seems to be a bug where you wont teleport to the roof of mass fuision building

I seem to be unable to warn the Brotherhood if I joined them while I starting this quest. Anyone else able to confirm this? Hyperfyre (talk)

I couldn't warn the brotherhood after starting either (PS4) I had to trash can glitch to the roof to complete the quest without making the BoS hostile.

I am having trouble informing Ingram. I go to her and select her, but no dialog comes up for me to tell her about the Beryllium Agitator. She just keeps saying her default stuff. Does anyone have a console command or something to "unlock" her speech options for this quest? Jaspian (talk) 09:11, January 11, 2016 (UTC)

Make Disambiguous?[]

Seeing as we have this page which refers to the quest as well as Mass Fusion (company) and (arguably) Mass Fusion building, should this be a "disambiguous" (the grammar Nazi in me will never get over that term) page? And the current contents moved to Mass Fusion (quest) instead? -- DeJuanNOnley (talk) 15:05, February 12, 2016 (UTC)

Wouldn't that be a "disambiguity" page? And either way, I definitely support this action. I would like to see administration weigh in on this, though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Axelskox (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Regardless of the correct grammar, they're generally referred to as "disambiguation pages".
They're typically only used where a single search term would yield multiple pages of equal 'usefulness'. For example, the most useful page for the search term "Day Tripper" depends on which Fallout game the user is playing, which is arguably unpredictable.
If someone types in "Mass Fusion", they're much more likely to be searching for the quest, than the pre-war company, in which case using the "For" template to link to the less useful result(s) on this page is more appropriate. It also makes it much easier for people editing pages, since it's quicker to type [[Mass Fusion]] than [[Mass Fusion (quest)|Mass Fusion]], and oftentimes some editors won't bother, forcing users to have to click twice to get to the page they actually wanted.
It's all somewhat subjective as to which is the best approach to take, q.v. the recent discussion about the Automatron page. In these cases, I'm of the opinion that convenience is more important than consistency. I'd actually be in favor of not having any disambiguation pages, making an educated guess as to which page is most useful, and just use the "For" template to link to the other result(s).
Either way, there's the more practical issue of updating all the internal links to this page (which is incredibly tedious) if you do decide to rename this page to "Mass Fusion (quest)", and make "Mass Fusion" a disambiguation page. Aya42 (talk) 19:37, March 19, 2016 (UTC)
