Baseball gear & Bats[]

Current text reads Some inhabitants of Diamond City appear to be wearing baseball uniforms and wielding baseball bats. From The two official videos there are two types of baseball style outfits on show. One if worn by some of the guards in and around Diamond City which is based on catcher gear (helmet with face grill, ribbed, padded chest and crotch cover, knee pads etc.) These guards carry rifles not baseball bats.

There is one NPC wearing a traditional baseball uniform with cap who does carry a baseball bat. He appears to be standing guard outside the Swatters shop which would fit with it being a baseball bat shop, rather than a more general guard.

It's Skyrim[]

I am wondering whether the diamond logo of the city does look very similar to the logo of the skyrim game. I might even found an Easter egg which would confirm this yesterday but i was to tired to write it down :(

- Well the place is called Diamond City and is in an old baseball diamond (Fenway park), and the icon is a common baseball diamond (you can tell by the arc along the top from the infield dirt and the circle for the mound) so I say no to this theory. The Skyrim logo is a significantly more stretched out diamond that is actually a dragon. Interestingly, Toronto's stadium and the former Metrodome of my town Minneapolis do not have the infield dirt arc. There are just circles around the bases and pitcher's mound.

Location, please?[]

What part of the Commonwealth is it in? The map is too zoomed in to tell any landmarks apart, and it doesn't show the names of any of the named locations. Jykale (talk) 20:02, December 29, 2015 (UTC)

None of the maps on this Wiki show other named locations because they are taken using the in game map, which only shows one name at a time. They are also all zoomed in roughly the same amount. It's located almost right in the middle of the map, straight south of CIT, to the West of most of downtown. At night, depending on where you are, you can see the outfield lights from most places near downtown (they are ridiculously bright). Whitey138 (talk) 12:09, December 31, 2015 (UTC)

I want to go there but what direction is it from sanctuary hills. --Owen 20:03, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

This should be moved[]

In the Boston Bugle building, there is a newspaper that indicates that on October 23rd, 2077, on the day of the Great War, the Red Sox were winning the World Series, after decades of failure, they would finally win, unfortunately, the bombs fell on that day, and the Red Sox never played or won a World Series ever again.

This should be moved, as the Boston Bugle building is not in Diamond City. Its only tangentially related due to Diamond City being built in Fenway park. It should be moved to Boston Bugle building or even to a new page for the unnamed baseball team. --Dagbiker (talk) 04:45, January 19, 2016 (UTC)

non quest[]

Brother Against Brother and Wedding Day are random encounters (wedding day is not so random but still), and should be stated as such.

Triggerman?[]

Anyone else have hostile Triggeman spawning in town randomly multiple times? On Xbox One here, it's happened in Nick's Office as well as the Market. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.228.154.26 (talkcontribs) 05:30, May 9, 2016 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Diamond City Guards[]

Anyone else notice that after downloading Far Harbor, the Diamond City Guards helmets are replaced by head apparel (kinda like the recruit masks from New Vegas but without the face cover)

Psychopathic residents[]

For the second time, now, the entire city turned hostile for no reason while I was just walking around. I didn't even have a weapon drawn. They just start attacking all at once without warning or reason. Tried drawing and holstering weapons or traveling far away and waiting for a few days to see if they went back to normal, but it seems that reloading is the only solution. - Erik the Mad (talk) 18:12, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Talk is not for in game issues. It's about the wiki page. We have forums for these things. Scarfles (talk) 18:26, March 11, 2018 (UTC)

Actually I'm fine with this being here. Could be a bug and we cover those on articles.
I think it goes without saying that it is a bug, and I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this particular issue before. It's kind of a force of habit for me to discuss potential bugs on the talk page before adding them to the actual article that I developed from another wiki. - Erik the Mad (talk) 19:31, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
