The term "Big Iron" is often used as a colloquialism for long barreled revolvers, as mentioned in the song "Big Iron " which was featured in Fallout: New Vegas
Despite its name, the ivory grip mod does not change the appearance of the set of grips on this revolver when its unique paint scheme is removed and as such, the grips remain visually wooden.
