License plates are world objects.
Background[]
Vehicle registration plates, known as license plates, were used to identify motor vehicles before the Great War. The plates were issued by a regional agency, such as a state. The appearances of plates were frequently chosen to contain symbols, colors, or slogans associated with the issuing jurisdiction. The pre-War automated underground parking garage in Watoga automatically logged vehicle registration plates and allowed users to search for them by their license plate number.[1]
In New Reno's Chop Shop, T-Ray will speak with the Chosen One about license plates. He mentions several improvements that can be done to increase a vehicle's value, including adding a brass rope around the licnese plate as a frame.[2][3][4] While in Broken Hills, the Chosen One hits the ghoul Lumpy with their car. He shouts out to anyone nearby for help seeing the license plate number.[5]
