The Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Anthology is a collection of seven of the Fallout games, including Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Fallout Tactics, as well as all of their add-ons.[1]
Release history[]
The collection was announced on February 19, 2024, intended to promote the Fallout series with the upcoming TV show premiering soon. Pre-orders also opened on February 19. The set is scheduled to be released on April 11, 2024, worldwide.
Content[]
The anthology includes the seven Fallout games as previously mentioned, with Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 being Game of the Year Editions, as well as Fallout: New Vegas's Ultimate Edition. The collection does not include physical copies of the games; rather, download codes are provided for each of the seven games.
Like the Fallout Anthology (2015) that preceded it, the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Anthology is packaged in a unique case shaped like a mini nuke, which makes "audible bomb sounds." Seven cards for the SPECIAL attributes (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck) are included, and fit inside of the case. Each of the SPECIAL cards also contains the download code for one of the games. Although the SPECIAL system has been a mainstay of the Fallout series, the design of these cards was inspired by Fallout 76's perk cards.[1]
