Boxcars or traincars are world objects found in Fallout 3 and its add-ons Operation: Anchorage and the Pitt.
Characteristics[]
An enclosed railroad car, used to carry freight along pre-War railines across America, typically reddish in color. Three winterized variants with Alaskan markings in various colors including light brown, dark brown, and gray can be found in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation. Another variant clad in brownish color is a common sight on railroad tracks around The Pitt.

Markings on the winterized boxcars include "ALASKA 1876" and "99 653" on each side.
