I've been puttering around Wikipedia for several years--adding categories, making small edits, and writing articles.

After completing my Ph.D, I worked briefly as an academic and then left to work in a variety of communication-related roles in high tech world (technical writer, project manger, web content developer and publisher, internal communications). After more than a decade, I left the high tech world, earned another degree, and worked in an academic library for a decade or so.
