Improvements in need

FGTC Improvements in need:

  • Three even-ranked coordinators instead of Director-delegate system[1]
  • Mass renaming of Good Topic Pages. At the moment, all topics are named "Featured topic", regardless of it they are featured or good topics.
    • Passed, not done
  • Combining the two talk pages into one [2]

  • Simpler record keeping strategies (model off of FAC) (this is unnecessary)
  • Massively simplify Wikipedia:Featured and good topic criteria
    • Currently there is just too much overly specific information on that page (most of which is routinly ignored by reviewers, for good reason). The Recommendations section, for instance, contains many things which ought to be either be formal rules (topics don't overlap) or not there at all ("The articles use a common infobox where appropriate" seems far too contentious, given WP's controversy on infoboxes).
  • Every topic should have a summary paragraph at the top, many do not at the moment
  • Go through and make sure subtopics are linked in the main topics (as here)
