Dirac comb

Named after English physicist Paul Dirac. The functions, when plotted visually, resemble the teeth of a comb.

Dirac comb (plural Dirac combs)

1. (mathematics) A periodic tempered distribution constructed from Dirac delta functions for some given period. It allows both continuous and discrete phenomena to be represented in a single framework.
