Update: the DLC will cost 1500 Crowns Crowns without an ESO Plus subscription and will be released on PC/Mac on August 1st, and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 16th. Read the newest update here.


Today, news broke that Update 11 for The Elder Scrolls Online will include a general patch and a DLC dungeon pack called Shadows of the Hist.

The DLC pack includes:

  • Cradle of Shadows – An all new four-player dungeon featuring a storyline involved with the Argonian Dark Brotherhood and a rival apparent for both normal and veteran modes.
  • Ruins of Mazzatun – Another four-player dungeon with normal/veteran modes focused on freeing slaves from an oppressive tribe in the backdrop of a crumbling city full of riddles.

The Patch includes:

  • The opportunity to change the appearance, race, and gender of your character as well as cosmetic changes to hair and tattoos. 
  • Hel Ra Citadel, the Aetherian Archive, and Dragonstar Arena improvements: More difficulty; more rewards.
  • Be able to text chat with other players on consoles.
  • Cropsford, Vlastarus, and Bruma are here and can be captured for your alliance, operating in similar vein with the Imperial District flag capture system.

And so much more! No word yet on when the update drops, but you know where to come to when it does!
