15 Best Blogs for Women to Inspire You (Updated for 2023)

15 best blogs for women

Looking for the best blogs for women? You’re in luck because, in this blog post, I’m going to break down the 15 best blogs for women.

Women these days have to wear so many hats. You’re a parent, a daughter, a worker, a homemaker, and more. That’s on top of everything else that makes you you, like your hobbies and passions. Whatever you’re interested in, there’s bound to be a blog that discusses the issues you hold dear.

Before I get on with the list of the best blogs for women, let me show you the steps on how to start a woman’s blog of your own.

How to start a blog for women

Want to start a blog of your own? You never know, you could one day end up on this list of the best blogs for women too! Here are the 5 steps to getting started.

Step 1: Choose a blog niche

There are countless blog niches to choose from, but few better than a woman’s blog. But it helps to dig a bit deeper and find a smaller niche. If you find a smaller niche, rather than a generic woman’s blog, you’ll have a better chance at building an audience.

You can focus on women over 50, businesswomen, women’s health, women’s fitness, or moms, to name a few.

Step 2: Choose a blog name

This step is fun because you can let your creative juices get flowing. Pick a catchy name for your blog that’s easy to say and hard to forget!

If you’re stuck at this step, just pick something you like for now. You can always change it later if you find a new name you want.

Step 3: Grab a domain name and hosting

Having control of your blog is one of the best blogging investments you can make. To own your blog, you need a domain name and hosting. I recommend starting with HostGator.

Step 4: Design your blog

By default, HostGator sets you up with the WordPress blogging platform. With WordPress, you have the flexibility to design your blog, add plugins to add some cool features, and more.

To start, pick a blog theme base. I recommend choosing Astra Pro. It’s the theme I use here on Do Six Figures. But believe you me, our blogs will not look the same. That’s because you can design your blog any way you like using Astra’s starter templates.

Step 5: Launch your blog!

Once you have a blog online and a blog theme set up, it’s time to start writing and launch your blog!

At this point, I recommend looking into some blog tools to help you build your blog. For example, I recommend all bloggers use Grammarly to help with your writing and Canva to help with all things graphic design like making your logo.
