Suica Registration Error on Apple Mobile: Charged but App error

registered for Suica on Apple Mobile and added a balance. After adding the balance, an error occurred saying my region is not Japan, even though my Apple settings are set to Japan. Despite the error, my credit card was charged. Now, I can't add the Suica card to my wallet or log into my account. Do you have any idea?

Please review the Apple Support article I linked below. Does your credit or debit card reflecting the charge?


If your transit card balance doesn't update in Apple Wallet - Apple Support


Contact Suica support. One or two community members are reporting that payments are only be accepted when the iPhone is physically in Japan.


Basic troubleshooting steps are restart the iPhone, make sure it’s updated to last iOS version and Suica app is updated.


What region is your iPhone set to?


Change the language and region on iPhone - Apple Support


Add a Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA card to Apple Wallet - Apple Support


Use Suica, PASMO, or ICOCA cards on iPhone or Apple Watch in Japan - Apple Support
