I bought a new iPad Pro today and the salesman told me it included three free months of Apple TV. But when I open the app, it simply asks me to renew my subscription for $12.99 a month. What gives?

Apple’s offer is for new subscribers. Previous subscribers that have had an extended free trial before, would not qualify for more of the same offers. You have already tried it.
