‘Turtles All The Way Down’ Star Cree Signs With UTA

EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed actress Cree for representation in all areas.

Currently, Cree can be starring alongside Isabela Merced in Turtles All the Way Down, Hannah Marks’ adaptation of John Green’s beloved New York Times bestseller for Max. Adapted for the screen by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker, the film tells the story of Aza Holmes (Merced), a teenage girl who struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder, watching as she embarks on a quest to locate a missing billionaire. Cree plays the role of Daisy, Aza’s outgoing best friend and confidant.

Past film credits for Cree include Netflix’s The Sleepover opposite Joe Manganiello, Ken Marino, and Malin Akerman, as well as the indie drama Stay Awake with Chrissy Metz, Wyatt Oleff and Fin Argus.

In television, Cree had a season-long arc on ABC’s Big Sky and appeared in Max’s Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That…. She is also often recognized for her starring role as Marisol Fuentes opposite Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias on Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias, which ran for three seasons. Previously, she garnered a pair of Imagen Foundation Award nominations for Best Young Actor – Television for her work on the Nickelodeon series Game Shakers.

Born in New York, raised in Queens, and of Ecuadorian heritage, Cree started her career in acting at a young age, landing her first series regular role at just 13 years old. On the philanthropy front, she is passionate about shedding light on social injustices around the globe and uses her social media presence to raise awareness and spread information on how others can advocate, as well. She also has a passion for both rescue animals and food allergy awareness and has actively supported various non-profits around the Los Angeles area over the last five years.
