Michael is Member of the German Parliament, and since 2013 he is the Chairman of the FDP in Baden-Württemberg and a member of the FDP Federal Executive Committee. Furthermore he is Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Digital and Transport. Additionally, Michael was designated as Member of the Governing Council of the Deutsche Bundesbank. Michael was impressed by our more than 370 #GearedMotorExperts and the professional streamlined processes to manufacture geared motors. Our company has the technical legacy and competence of nearly 100 years in building geared motors, and the 70.000 square meters site at Tübingen-Kilchberg was inaugurated in 1965 already. Most recently our Innomotics geared motors team in Tübingen was launching their brand-new motor line to increase their value-add and ensure, that for example fast-track orders can be realized in shorter lead times. Michael was impressed as well by our technical future-readiness, like e.g. by our fully automated transport vehicles (ATVs), our manufacturing robots, or our fully automated autostore warehouse with about 23.000 store yards. In meinem Vortrag beleuchtete ich drei Schlüsselaspekte für die Implementierung einer Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie: 1) 💬Gemeinsame Sprache: Als Nachhaltigkeitsmanager müssen wir als "translators" zwischen Nachhaltigkeits-KPIs und "traditionellen Geschäfts-KPIs" fungieren.
