Taylor Swift has joined elite company by achieving her 10th No. 1 single, and it’s all thanks to a song originally released four years ago.

“Cruel Summer” tops this week’s Billboard Hot 100. The song was originally released way back in 2019 on her album Lover, but was promoted as a proper single during “The Eras Tour.” Last week, she further bolstered the song’s streaming numbers by unveiling a live version of the track as well as a new remix from by Giobbi.

“Cruel Summer” marks Swift’s 10th No. 1 single to date, following “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood” featuring Kendrick Lamar, “Look What You Made Me Do,” “Cardigan,” “Willow,” “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version),” and “Anti-Hero.”

As a result, Swift becomes only the 12th artist ever to achieve 10 No. 1 singles. The Beatles currently hold the all-time record with 20 chart-toppers, followed by Mariah Carey with 19, Elvis Presley with 18, and Rihanna with 14. Other artists with 10+ No. 1 singles include Drake, Michael Jackson, The Supremes, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, and Janet Jackson.

Beyond her success on the singles chart, Swift has the third most No. 1 albums of all time with 12. She is behind only The Beatles (19) and JAY-Z (14).

If that weren’t enough, Swift recently broke the record for the top-grossing concert film in history with “The Eras Tour.”

    She just can’t be stopped.
