We are thrilled to announce that 55 students made history last Thursday as the third graduating cohort of STC's Pathways to Education Program. This groundbreaking initiative, launched in 2018 through a partnership between the Saskatoon Tribal Council, Saskatoon Public School Division, and Saskatoon Greater Catholic School Division, aims to support Indigenous students by addressing barriers such as poverty and lack of peer support. Pathways to Education Canada provides vital programming to communities with low graduation rates, working closely with local schools and families. Since its first cohort in 2019, the program has offered personalized guidance and support, helping students navigate challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Congratulations to these 55 remarkable graduates whose dedication, courage, and resilience inspire us all. Your success paves the way for future generations of Indigenous students in Saskatoon and beyond.
