Video: Evan Fournier Ejected After Choking Dennis Schröder During France vs. Germany

French men's national basketball team wing Evan Fournier was ejected after choking guard Dennis Schröder during his team's exhibition game against Germany on Saturday.

The brawl happened with France leading 41-23 late in the first half en route to a 90-66 win.

Fournier and Schröder appeared to make up after the scuffle, but the former player was still tossed.

The 31-year-old Fournier is currently an NBA free agent. He's played 12 years in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets, Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons, averaging 13.6 career points per game.

The 30-year-old Schröder currently suits up for the Brooklyn Nets. He's spent 11 years in the Association with the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers (two stints), Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and Nets. He's posted 14.0 PPG and 4.8 APG lifetime.

The fight highlighted the first half, but French big man Victor Wembanyama stole the show. The San Antonio Spurs superstar posted 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting in just 19 minutes to lead France to victory.

France and Germany will soon head to the Summer Olympics, which are based in Paris. The two countries are matched together in the same group and will play each other on Aug. 2.
