Dakorien Moore has made his collegiate decision.

The wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, announced on an Instagram livestream Thursday that he has committed to Oregon over Texas, Ohio State, LSU and others.

Moore, a 5-star prospect, is considered to be the No. 3 player and top wide receiver in the nation as well as the No. 1 player in the state of Texas for the Class of 2025 by 247Sports Composite.

Moore originally committed to LSU ahead of his junior year in August 2023, but he announced in May that he had decommitted from the Tigers.

Along with Texas, LSU and Ohio State, Moore also held offers from programs like Alabama, Michigan, Florida, Tennessee and other Power 5 schools. Ultimately, he felt Oregon was the best place to help him get to the next level.

The Ducks already strong Class of 2025 got even better with the addition of Moore. According to 247Sports Composite, Oregon holds the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation with a 5-star in Moore and 12 4-star prospects.

Moore will join an Oregon program that has been trending upward under head coach Dan Lanning, who was hired ahead of the 2022 season. After going 10-3 in 2022, the Ducks improved to 12-2 last season and won the Fiesta Bowl against Liberty.

Oregon was arguably a win away from being included in the College Football Playoff, and it will look to get to that point this season. If the Ducks can continue improving, Moore could be joining one of the top teams in the country when he gets to campus in 2025.
