Since the BGDF was established in June 2020, over 30 games at various stages of development have received funding.

Current BGDF-funded projects bring exciting new concepts and perspectives to traditional game genres, such as a beatboxing rhythm game, a solarpunk action-platformer, a neo-noir shooter in which the player battles through a haunted hotel filled with classic horror movie monsters, a match-3 puzzler with visual novel elements and a chill lofi soundtrack, a thrilling action-adventure that melds African mythology with epic fantasy, and more.
