In this Orion Star review, I’ll be taking you through all of the things that this social casino has to offer. Additionally, I’ll also take a look at whether or not this platform is legit for US players.
Like most social casinos, this website and app offer over 500 slots. However, what sets Orion Stars apart are its fish table games, which are fun arcade-style games that are somewhat skills-based. While there are undoubtedly good points about this site, I’ve also found a few reasons to approach it with a bit of caution.
Social casino platforms like this legally have to allow their account holders to play for free, usually, this is done by giving us free virtual currency when we sign up. However, the Orion Stars no deposit bonus is a little bit different from the norm and, if I’m being honest, slightly unclear.
There doesn’t appear to be a fixed number of coins and/or credits that you get when you register. Nor do Orion Stars Sweeps Coins (SC) seem to exist at all. What I did find was the Daily Bonus Wheel, which you can spin every 24 hours for the chance to win free entries to play slots, keno, and fish table games for free at this social casino.
Besides that, I don’t have a whole lot more to tell you right now, as there isn’t a lot of information on the website or in the app. However, it does appear that the platform is going through some major updates right now. So if you bookmark this page, I’ll hopefully have some answers for you in the near future.
The Orion Stars website looks OK and is easy enough to navigate overall. You can scroll down for basic information, meanwhile there are extra tabs explaining the signup process and how you can download the app.
Additionally, there is an FAQ section, but no option to contact customer service directly from the site. On the whole, the basic information about the platform is there, but there is quite a lot missing.
I’ve accessed all areas of the site and have read every piece of information available, but I still have some outstanding questions regarding key areas of the site. For instance, the bonus T&Cs are nowhere to be found and the virtual currency system isn’t explained anywhere.
There is information suggesting that this is a social casino, due to the use of terms such as “Entertainment-only”. Therefore, I think it’s safe to assume that no sweepstakes prizes are available, but I can’t confirm to you with 100% certainty.
One thing that is for sure is that you cannot play on the website. To do so, you have to download the app, which I’ve covered below. If you’re looking for a site that I have a bit more confidence in, take a look at the Carnival Citi review here.
I found the Orion Stars Sweeps app on Google Play and installed it on my Android phone. When I opened the app, I got a message saying that it was locked, but it gave me the option to contact the owner. So I did, but as of yet I haven’t had a response.
I also looked for the app in the Apple App Store, but couldn’t find it. This leads me to the on-site download options.
On the website that I spoke about above, there is a tab entitled “How To Download The App”. This gives you instructions for three download options:
The Android and iOS apps contain the same download link, which takes you to an unsecured link. If you follow the Android instructions, it includes a section on how to allow “unknown apps”.
I’m not saying that Orion Stars is a scam necessarily, but I would hold off on downloading the app for now. It appears to be going through some changes that might improve the quality, but I can’t recommend it in its current state.
Step 4 in the instructions in the Orion Stars register form states that you can “buy initial game credits”. However, there is no information or further instruction on how you can do this.
As I wasn’t able to get into the app myself due to it being locked, I couldn’t purchase game credits myself. Some sources have claimed that you can pay with credit/debit cards and some e-wallets, like Skrill, but I cannot confirm and verify this right now.
There isn’t anything that explicitly states one way or the other whether or not sweepstakes prizes are available. There is a mention of “Community Prizes” which are hinted at being virtual rewards.
I’m therefore working on the assumption that you cannot redeem real prizes of any kind on this platform.
Before you contact the customer support team, there is an FAQ section on the website. However, as I said before, it is a little bit vague and lacks some key info.
For me, the glaring omissions were the lack of payment and bonus information as well as clarity about the virtual credits that you can use to play. If you need some information, this tool will suffice, but you will need to get in touch with them if you want to dive a little deeper.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any way to contact customer service on the website, and I was unable to get into the app due to it being locked. I’m led to believe that 24/7 customer service is available on the app for account holders. However, I couldn’t access and test it when doing my research.
To bring a bit of positivity back to this Orion Stars review, they are quite active on social media. They have a Facebook page with posts that seem to get a lot of comments and engagement, though admittedly a lot of it seems to be from bots.
Additionally, there is a decent YouTube Channel with videos of actual fish table gameplay from the site. It's not amazing, but it inspires a little bit more confidence than the website.
I’ll start with the positives, there is a credible privacy policy and the main website appears to be HTTPS and SSL secured. However, as I told you earlier, the iOS and Android download link is unsecure and a lot of information is missing from the site.
There is no trace of any gambling licenses, which isn’t an issue for a social casino necessarily. However, there is also nothing on the site about the brand’s compliance with US social gaming or sweepstakes laws.
The only reward that I could find any decent information about was the Daily Bonus Wheel that I mentioned earlier. “Community Prizes” are referred to a few times on the site, but there is no explanation of what these involve and how you can win them.
One thing I discovered that is sort of related to this field is that you can create private tables exclusively for your friends. Once you have created your table, you can protect it with a Password that you can give out to those you wish to invite.
The Orion Stars brand seems to have been around in some form or another for a while. Right now, however, the site is a bit unclear and the download links are not secure. I’m not going to tell you it’s a total scam, but I would steer clear of it for now until I can give you further clarification. In the meantime, check out my ClubWPT review for a legit social poker site.
The Orion Stars app is a casino-style slots, keno, and fish table games app that you can play on socially for entertainment. However, it is not a gambling platform and you cannot win real money here. Check out my Orion Stars review at BallisLife.com for more information.
The only way I could find that you can potentially get free play on this social casino app is to spin the Daily Bonus Wheel. This gives you the chance to win free credits that you can use to play fish tables and casino-style games. Other than that, there’s very little information available I’m afraid.
At this moment in time, I’m going to say no for a couple of reasons. Firstly, while I was able to download the app and install it from Google Play with no bother, when I tried to open the app it was locked. Moreover, the download links provided on the website are not secure. Hopefully, this gets sorted out in the not-too-distant future.
To play casino-style games and fish tables on this site, you need to register, download the app, and buy credits, though you can play for free at first. This is how the process is supposed to go, but when trying it out myself, I experienced some problems. Find out more here at BallisLife.com.
At the end of the day, I would approach Orion Stars with caution for the moment. While there aren’t enough red flags to suggest it is a total scam, there isn’t enough information out there to inspire total confidence either.
From what I gather, there was a recent ownership change and the brand has been operational in the past. My advice for now is to wait, but bookmark this page and revisit us from time to time to see if there are any updates.

All told, there are over 500 games in the Orion Stars app, including video slots, keno, and other casino-style classics. However, what really stood out for me, was the fish table games, which offer skills-based excitement that you can play with friends.
For those of you unaware, fish table games involve shooting fish with a bubble gun. Every missed shot loses you coins while hitting fish gains you coins. Therefore accuracy is key.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to test out the fish tables on this site, as I had trouble downloading the app and creating my Orion Stars login. You can read my full review above for more information on why this was the case.
In lieu of this, I was able to use the YouTube videos, which showed games with high-quality graphics, and fast-paced, exciting multiplayer gameplay. If this is true to life, then we’re in for a treat. That being said, until things are fine-tuned and made a bit clearer, I would avoid playing games on this app for the time being.
The virtual currency that you use to play casino-style games on this platform is simply referred to as “game credits”. However, it’s unclear what form these take or how you can get them for free.
There is mention of the Daily Bonus Wheel that you can spin every 24 hours for the chance to win “Free entries”. But I couldn’t find anything about the Orion Stars promo code or any other offers.
It is stated a few times that you can buy game credits to play at Orion Stars, but there are no details on how to do this. Moreover, there are no specific payment methods mentioned.
Overall, it’s a bit of a confusing vague coin system If I’m honest.
While this social casino shows plenty of promise, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it in its current state. For me, there are things that need to be improved, such as the app, before I can rate it properly.
On top of that, some of the information needs to be made clearer and a few security features should be added. If and when that’s done, the fish table games look exciting, while the slots and keno games, though not unique, seem decent enough.
Final verdict - give this site a miss for now, but watch this space - improvements could be coming soon. Until then, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and one eye on their social media channels.
