Not sure how we managed that either but we've come from ex digital agency/flash game background so honed the skills over the many years before SMG started in 2013. Thankful to the team (past & present) and all our collaborators over the years that have helped us make so many unique, playful experiences. Proud of every game for different reasons and our ability to constantly evolve and keep making fresh ideas. 22 years ago I walked into ASIC office to register Soap Creative. All I wanted to do was make Flash games and it wasn't until 2013 when we started SMG Studio did we really start to make that dream a reality. (We still made like 250 flash advergames and some still very proud of) I posted about this in 2020 with some extra back story https://lnkd.in/geP7ZnpR but glossed over all the more interesting stories to avoid issues. But so many stories... Big wins, big losses, fraud leading to legal battles, new friends, new family, clients being arrested for importing boatloads of drugs, people faking deaths in family, using my own personal money to pay salaries a few times... 🤠 World was a much simpler place back in 2002. Glad I don't have to use MYOB anymore too

We've kicked off 2024 with food and fun. Logistics are tricky with us all spread out so NSW, Vic, Qld and LA all had separate events. We flew the ACT & SA people out so they didn't miss out. Very excited to announce what we've all been working on!
