Capstay

Great location! Our building is located just next to Crystal City metro station. One of my friends recommended me when I was looking for intern housing in Washington DC. I loved to stay with Capstay. There are lots of amenities in the building. All of my roommates were interns in the area. I stayed in a double room. There is a spacious living and and balcony. I love cooking and having a full kitchen just for 3 tenants was great:)) I wish I could stay in summer time because swimming pool is just opened. Crystal city is amazing. Very safe and lots of restaurants, groceries in walking distance. You do not need a car if you have an internship in DC. It is very good if you are looking for intern and student housing.

Very disappointed with my Capstay experience. The apartments were furnished, but in my opinion, were not furnished very well, and just seemed drab. You pay a lot for a furnished short term apartment, and you could do much better in my opinion. One of the biggest marks against this company is the lack of customer service. Upon checking in, I was lead to my room and pretty much just dropped off there, it was not a very good process and there was no formal walk through.

Be careful if you purchase parking. I had my car towed out of the lot at the apartment complex because Capstay did not provide my parking pass in time, and has refused to reimburse my costs for being towed. I would not recommend Capstay. They are not a good company to do business with, and also do business under the name Cities Housing I believe. The envelope with the key in it had Cities Housing written on it, and it seemed as though the people at the front desk only understood who Cities Housing was and not Capstay. Overall, a very weird experience and not one that I would recommend.
