How do I access my online account?

Visit nhregister.com/myaccount to manage your subscription online. Put your subscription on a temporary hold, enter complaints, make payments or switch to EZPay online!.

How do I access the e-Edition?

In order to access the e-Edition, the electronic version of the print edition, you must register your subscription at nhregister.com/myaccount

What should I do if I try to register/activate my subscription and get a message that it cannot be found?

Typically this happens when the information does not match our database. To better assist you, please contact our Subscriber Services team at 888-969-0949. Business hours are from 6 am–2pm, Monday through Friday, 7am–10am on Saturday, and 7am–11am on Sunday. Or you can email subscriptions@nhregister.com.

I’m a current newspaper subscriber, and I’m having problems logging in because I can’t remember my password. What should I do?

When trying to log in to nhregister.com, or the Subscriber Services site, you should see a "Forgot Password" option. Click that and follow the directions to reset your password. Or call 888-969-0949. Business hours are from 6 am–2pm, Monday through Friday, 7am–10am on Saturday, and 7am–11am on Sunday. Or you can email subscriptions@nhregister.com

Can I still get the New Haven Register if I move out of the area?

You may sign up for our Unlimited Digital Access subscription. Unlimited Digital Access includes access to nhregister.com and our e-edition (an exact replica of printed edition) and the CT Insider app.

You may also want to contact Subscriber Services to see if your new address is still within our home delivery footprint.

Who do I call if I don't receive my paper

If you don't receive your paper, you can notify us by visiting nhregister.com/myaccount and making a complaint or call us at 888-969-0949. If we cannot send you a newspaper or if you call later than 10 am, we will credit your account, thereby extending your subscription.

How can I avoid newspapers piling up while I am on vacation?

You can notify us by visiting nhregister.com/myaccount and entering a vacation stop and restart date, or call us at 888-969-0949 and we will stop delivery of your newspaper while you are on vacation.




New e-Edition platform, same quality content

The e-Edition looks different. Did something change?

Yes. We have a new e-Edition platform, featuring the same quality content and familiar features. If you’ve bookmarked the previous e-Edition page, it’s no longer valid. Please update your bookmark.

How do I access the e-Edition?

If you don’t already receive it, sign up for the morning newsletter, which contains the daily e-Edition link at the top, here. You can also access the e-Edition on our website or app. Website: Once you’re signed in, the e-Edition button will appear in the top right-hand corner of the page. App: Click on “Settings” in the bottom navigation menu and then scroll down to “Read Today’s Paper.”

How do I navigate the e-Edition?

A helpful place to start is the “How to Use” screen here (located under “Info” in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner). It provides a visual reference for the actions you may need , including view options, how to navigate the pages, edition options, how to pop out an article, how to browse content and the location of the main menu. Here is additional, detailed information on the tools and actions you may need:

  • To advance, click on the arrow button on the right of the page or in the top navigation bar.
  • To return to the front, click on the “First Page” arrow icon in the top navigation bar.
  • To select a specific article, click on it. It will then pop out into a separate screen.
  • To increase the size of your view, two options: Click on the “Fullscreen” icon in the top navigation bar or in a popped-out article, click on the “Enlarge Text” icon at the top of the article screen.
  • In addition to “Fullscreen,” you also have “Page Fit,” “Single Pane” and “Double Pane” viewing options in the top navigation bar.
  • To clip an article, click on the “Create Clipping” icon in the top navigation bar or in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.
  • To print, click on the“Print” icon in the top navigation bar or in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner. You will then have the option to select a specific page or select all.
  • To bookmark a page, click on the “Bookmarks” icon in the top navigation bar in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.
  • To download the edition, click on the “Download” icon in the top navigation bar in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.
  • To view past editions, click on the “Archive” icon in the top navigation bar in the dropdown menu in the top right-hand corner.
  • To share the edition, click on the “Share” icon in the top navigation bar and choose from email, Facebook or X, formerly known as Twitter.
  • To search for a keyword, click on the “Search” icon in the top navigation bar. You will have the choice of the current edition or all editions.
  • The section list dropdown menu is in the top right-hand corner of the navigation bar.
  • The main dropdown menu is in the top right-hand corner of the navigation bar.

Gifting/Sharing Articles

How do I gift or share an article?

Look for the “Gift this article” button next to select articles on our website and click on it. You will have two options: emailing the article or copying the link. If you select email, a message that includes the article headline with the article link will be automatically generated.

The link remains active for 14 days.

How often can I gift an article?

Your subscriber benefit entitles you to share up to 10 articles paywall-free every 30 days.

What does the recipient need to do to access the article?

While the article is paywall-free (doesn’t require a subscription to read), if the recipient is new to our publication, we will ask them to please submit their email address to read the article.

Can I gift or share an article in the e-Edition or app?

Currently, this exclusive benefit is only available on our website.

I’m a New Haven Register subscriber. Is Puzzmo Plus included with my subscription?

While Puzzmo Plus is not included, New Haven Register subscribers enjoy the benefit of a discounted rate on their annual Puzzmo Plus subscription. Please use your New Haven Register email address for your Puzzmo Plus purchase to ensure your subscriptions are linked and your discounted rate is applied. Can I bundle my New Haven Register and Puzzmo Plus subscriptions?

Not at this time. New Haven Register and Puzzmo Plus subscriptions need to be purchased separately, yet with the same email address. If and when your annual Puzzmo Plus subscription renews, we’ll automatically check for and apply your discounted rate.

Is there a difference between subscribing to Puzzmo Plus through New Haven Register and directly on Puzzmo.com?

While your playing experience is the same, subscribing through New Haven Register ensures you receive the benefit of a discounted rate on your Puzzmo Plus subscription and renewal. Please use your New Haven Register email address for your Puzzmo Plus subscription purchase to ensure your subscriptions are linked and your discounted rate is applied.

I subscribed to Puzzmo Plus directly. Can I still link it to my New Haven Register subscription and receive a refund for the discounted rate?

Yes! Contact Customer Service within 30 days from time of purchase. If you are eligible, you will receive a partial refund within 10 days. We will also link your subscriptions; so that at the time of your Puzzmo Plus renewal, you can continue to enjoy the benefit of a discounted rate.

I’m a New Haven Register subscriber. Why doesn’t the discounted rate appear on my Puzzmo Plus subscription?

To have received the discounted rate, your New Haven Register email address should have been used for your Puzzmo Plus subscription purchase. If you did not receive your discounted rate, contact Customer Service within 30 days from time of purchase. If you are eligible, you will receive a partial refund within 10 days. We will also link your subscriptions, if they aren’t already.

How do I access old games, like crosswords, Sudoku, Word Sleuth and Plus One?

While these games have been discontinued, you can access reimagined favorites and regularly added brand-new puzzles like Cross|word, SpellTower, Flipart and more with your Puzzmo Plus subscription.

How can I conveniently pay for my subscription?

How do I tip my carrier?

If you wish to tip your carrier, you can send your tip directly to him or her. Or you can include your tip with your payment by indicating the amount in the appropriate box on your invoice. If you have a complaint about your carrier, call us at 888-969-0949.

Am I charged for Bonus Days and Premium Days?

YES. Subscriptions may include up to twelve premium issues per year. For 2024, premium days include 3/17, 5/19, 9/15, and 11/28. For each premium issue your account balance will be charged up to $7, which will be reflected in the billing period when the premium issue publishes. In order to keep your bill amount consistent, this may result in a subscription term of less than your current term for the period in which the Premium Issue is published. Premium Issue charges may occur during your promotional period, which will shorten that period.

How do I cancel my subscription

You can cancel at any time by calling 888-969-0949 or by managing your account at nhregister.com/myaccount. Cancellation will become effective at the end of your billing period; refunds and credits will not be provided.

EZPay Terms and Conditions

By signing up with EZPay you agree to a continuous subscription that will be automatically renewed until you cancel by contacting Customer Service. You understand you will be enrolled in EZPay, and authorize Hearst Media Services Connecticut to automatically charge the payment method you have provided for the next subscription term at the then-applicable subscription rate. EZPay charges occur at the beginning of the subscription term. Future subscription prices are subject to change, but you will be notified in advance of any changes to future subscription prices. You understand that you can cancel at any time and will not receive a refund for any undelivered issues or services remaining on your subscription balance under $5.00. No credits or refunds for a temporary stop of delivery will be given. You will not receive an invoice. Any recent outstanding balance will be processed with your first EZPay payment.

Subscription Terms and Conditions

If you choose the printed-bill option, a $3.95 charge will be applied to each bill. Charge does not apply to New York state residents. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. Every subscription may include up to twelve Premium Issues per year, each of which will contain supplemental content and enhanced sections. For each Premium Issue, your account balance will be charged an additional fee up to $7.00. In order to keep your bill amount consistent, this may result in a subscription term of less than your current term for the period in which the Premium Issue is published. Premium Issue charges may occur during your promotional period, which will shorten that period. When a price (such as a premium day) or frequency change occurs, the expiration date on your account will be adjusted. For 2024, premium days include 3/17, 5/19, 9/15, and 11/28. You can cancel at any time by calling 888-969-0949 or by managing your account at nhregister.com/myaccount. Cancellation will become effective at the end of your billing period; refunds and credits will not be provided. Any other dispute of charges must be brought to our attention within 60 days in order to receive a refund. Requests for credit due to service-related issues must be made within 10 days of the incident by calling Customer Service or logging into your account on our website. No credits or refunds for a temporary stop of delivery will be given. Balances under $5.00 will not be refunded.
