Whitestone City was the capital city of the planet Poln Major in Candoras sector. The city was named after a kind of hard, white stone mined from the mounds on the planet. When Mara Jade visited the city late in 0 ABY she compared the governmental palace to a falling-star dome, which was a type of toy sold in many souvenir shops around the Galactic Empire.
