The title of this article is conjectural.

Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

«Don't cause any trouble in Javyar's Cantina. You leave your problems and your attitude at the door.»
―The bouncer, to Revan[1]

A Rodian with black eyes and copper-colored skin worked as a bouncer during the Jedi Civil War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. They wore a yellow and white suit and wielded a stun baton. The Rodian understood spoken Basic and spoke Huttese.[1] In 3956 BBY,[2] they worked at Javyar's Cantina, a cantina in the Lower City of the Outer Rim planet Taris. They guarded the establishment's door and repeated its rule about leaving problems at the door to entering patrons. Following the quarantine of the ecumenopolis by the Sith, the bouncer was told by Sith commanders to not allow on duty Sith soldiers into the cantina. The Rodian would refuse entry to soldiers still in their armor, knowing some had attempted to sneak in.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

The bouncer was approached by Revan, a former Sith Lord with the memories of a Republic soldier. They told Revan the cantina's rule and let[1] him[3] into the cantina.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

«Hold on. The Sith commanders have said I can't let any of you troopers into the cantina while you're on duty.»
―The bouncer, to Revan[1]

The bouncer appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, developed by BioWare. Interactions with the bouncer are optional and have no effect on plot, quests, or alignment. If the player speaks to the bouncer or attempts to enter Javyar's Cantina while wearing Sith armor, they will stop the player and inform them of the Sith commanders' instructions. The player may tell the Rodian that they are not currently on duty, but they will still refuse entry, claiming that Revan is not the first soldier to attempt to sneak in while on-duty.[1]
