In 3651 BBY,^[1]^[source?] the Jedi Knight Satele Shan rediscovered a hyperspace route that led to the planet Tython, drawing on months of research and meditation, which allowed the Jedi Order to return to their long-lost homeworld. For her achievement, Shan was granted the rank of Jedi Master.^[2]
