A planet in the Unknown Regions was the homeworld of the Troukree species.[1] By 0 ABY,[2] the Storm-hair[3] Warlord Nuso Esva was preparing to conquer the planet, prompting a group of Troukree led by Vaantaar to flee the world and join Senior Captain Thrawn's Empire of the Hand, which opposed Esva's realm. The Troukree refugees later settled on the Outer Rim Territories planet of Poln Major.[1] In 0 ABY,[4] Vaantaar told the Hand of Judgment, a group of five Galactic Empire stormtrooper deserters, that he and his refugees did not know their homeworld's fate. After bringing the Hand of Judgment to his Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Admonitor, Thrawn told the group that the Troukree homeworld had suffered after Esva conquered it.[1]
