The Emperor's Pawns was an article appearing in Star Wars Gamer 5, written by Abel G. Peña and Juan Schwartz with Pablo Hidalgo, and illustrated by Joe Corroney.
The article provided background information on minor characters that surrounded Emperor Palpatine, such as Sarcev Quest and Jeng Droga. It was Peña's first published Star Wars article.
