Spice narcosis was a condition experienced by many Sevari who left their native world of Sevarcos II. The atmosphere of Sevarcos was laden with spice particles, and the Sevari had become used to it over time. However, if a Sevari left Sevarcos without carrying a supply of spice to breathe, he could enter a state of narcosis.
