Lieutenant Sarev was a Human male and a member of the Galactic Empire. He was assigned to lead Moff Lasre Dardano's secret listening post, Whisper Base, in 0 ABY. When a group of Alliance Special Operations personnel breached the base's command center, he fled in the base's All Terrain Scout Transport to try to contact the Moff and was pursued by the Rebels.

Sarev appears in Fantasy Flight Games' 2014 roleplaying game Star Wars: Age of Rebellion Beginner Game. The players must battle him, and the result of the battle is they prevent him from contacting the Moff or he succeeds in doing so.
