Quillin Durand was a hero of the Velabri species. During the evacuation of Velabri, a transport carrying Durand's family was saved from destruction by the Imperial invasion fleet by a starfighter piloted by Airen Cracken. Durand swore a Velabri Bloodvow to repay the debt. Durand died shortly after, with the Bloodvow passing to his eldest son, Quillin Arkell.[1]
