"And a knight shall come, a battle will be fought, and the prisoners shall go free."
―A prophecy of the poem[1]

The Poem of Ages was the Bouncer collection of their entire history, including the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. Toward the end of the poem was a collection of prophecies, including two that foretold the comings of Morgan and Kyle Katarn to the Valley of the Jedi.

In 1 BBY, the Bouncers saw Morgan Katarn on a floater moving from Fort Nowhere in the east to Olmondo to the west, and recognized him as the figure of the prophecy.[2]

Unknown to him, that night Morgan stopped his floater (the Old Codger) among some dunes, that were the ruins of Olmondo. There he contacted the Bouncers. One Bouncer communicated a part of the prophecy about the expected arrival of a knight. Morgan explained that although he could feel the fluctuations of the Force, he had never been a Jedi Knight. The Bouncer went on communicating that they expected an alien who, flying through the air, would come from the east and stop at Olmondo at night, seeking for the Valley, as Morgan did travel westwards on a repulsorcraft. When Morgan insisted that he never stayed in Olmondo, the Bouncers revealed to him that its ruins were right under the sand.[2][3]

In order to follow the prophecy, they spent the night on Olmondo, and then Morgan asked for the directions[2] although the Valley lay to the direction he was heading all along.[3]
