Generate lightning was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The spell allowed the caster to produce bolts of energy from their fingers which could be used for a multitude of purposes. While it was fully capable of inflicting wounds on a target, it could also be used to fell trees or remove cave-ins.
Ascendants who wished to cast the generate lightning spell were required to know the detect life, psychokinesis and sense life spells. The shield spell could be used to deflect the lightning, or it could be dissipated by the Force power Tutaminis.
