Faded Colors is a short story in the Living Force campaign for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. It was written by August and Cynthia Hahn and was published on the Wizards of the Coast website on February 2, 2006.
Plot summary[]
Barnab Chistor was traveling to the Temple of the Five Masters when he saw smoke rising from the forest. Running ahead, he found the Temple aflame, with many students and some of the Masters killed. Inside he found the "Master in Violet" still alive and fighting a strange assailant. Shooting his unique handgun at the creature, Chistor managed to repel it; however, after fleeing, it animated the corpses of slain students and set them upon Chistor and the Master in Violet.
