The Erhynradd Mutiny was a conflict that took place in 5 BBY[1] and shared its name with the Inner Rim's Erhynradd system.[3] It saw the death of Brigadier Gideon Tarkin of the Galactic Empire.[2] When Tarkin's brother, Imperial Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, received news of Gideon's death, he accepted the brigadier's[4] teenage[2] daughter, Rivoche, into his family estate on[4] the Outer Rim Territories' planet[3] Eriadu. Resentful at the loss of her father, Rivoche frequently threw tantrums. That ended when Wilhuff had a friendly servant girl and her family imprisoned on a penal asteroid, after which his niece began to conceal her true feelings.[2]
