Deflector was a member of the Rebel Alliance. He was put on a courier mission for the Alliance Fleet in 0 ABY with Tracer a few weeks after the Evacuation of Yavin. They were shot down over Trivar II, with Deflector becoming critically wounded, and died in Imperial custody in the city of Glare Peak. Tracer was then rescued by Rebel agents.
