CompForce Observer was a title given to agents of the Galactic Empire's CompForce Observation division.

Overview[]

These members of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order served in the Observation branch of CompForce. They were often dispatched to the field as political officers of the Galactic Empire. Their mission was to observe the Empire's war machine and helped to ensure that it functioned efficiently. While this was the official reason, unofficially they served as spies who kept detailed records on Imperial military personnel and watched them in order to ensure that they kept the ideals of the New Order.^[1]

The only individuals who were not aware of the Observers duties were the CompForce assaults teams. However, most people did not make a career as an Observer and instead chose to join the Imperial Security Bureau to serve in another COMPNOR division once their tour of duty was complete.^[1]
