In 1 BBY, Charger was a senior officer aboard the MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser Independence, and was present for the briefing prior to mission to capture information from the Imperial Corellian Corvette Talon, asking Admiral Ackbar what should be done with the corvette after its capture.[1]
