Battle mastery was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The spell allowed the wielder to use a hand weapon more effectively. The Ascendant's skill with a weapon was increased, allowing them to strike or parry. The spell did not increase the potency or damage of the weapon. In combat, the Ascendant could keep the spell active until they were stunned or wounded. The wielder was required to know the battle sense Ta-Ree spell to learn the battle mastery spell. The Ascendant could use battle mastery in conjunction with the energy blade spell to parry blaster fire.
