Awaken was a Ta-Ree spell capable of being wielded by Ascendants on the planet Kathol. The Ascendant could use the power to return another being to consciousness, and had to be in physical contact with the target at the time. The wielder was required to know the stay conscious Ta-Ree spell to learn the awaken spell. Using awaken could counter the Ta-Ree sleep spell.
