Developed by the ancient Arkanians, Arkanian bond armor used a number of special alloys that lost heat at a very slow rate, offering protection from sudden drops in temperature. A bonded form of laminate was used which made them durable though somewhat inflexible.

The Arkanian bond armor was intended to appear in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic but it was removed from the final version of the game. As the armor was still present in the game files, it could be obtained using cheat codes.
